Dirt Editions puts out pamphlets by writers who touch the dirt. The idiom “get your hands dirty” has no established origin. The word “pamphlet” derives from πάμφιλος — beloved of all — and contains the word for “friend.” Dirt Editions are made by hand, for friends, and distributed informally, mostly offline.
